Sandstorm in Kuwait

Ok, first thing - I got the above picture from another blog. (you know all this crap about copyrights and stuff. Some people just enjoy taking it further and making a big deal out of it. No I haven't taken permission but I will be sending the blogger an email now).

I don't have a pic, simply because I didn't bother clicking one. I am too lazy when it comes to these things. And to be perfectly honest, I really don't fancy taking pics of ... err.. such things/events. It takes a little more to get me fascinated. 

Now about the storm, yeah sure looks messed up, right? Well lots of noise about it too. I really don't know why though. Because it wasn't bad. It's a sandstorm, so there was sand. Yeah the coloured sky sure looked nasty, but then hey, really wasn't too bad.

Zero visibility? WTF?! Ok, I admit that visibility wasn't great, but it definitely wasn't ZERO visibility. Doubt it was even close to Zero visibility. I was on the road. Sure enough there was traffic, yes - I had the car's hazard lights turned on. So did lots of other cars. But it really wasn't too bad. The drive took a bit longer than usual. I drove a bit slower than usual (for a while at least), but .. it wasn't deserving of all the noise everyone made up about it.

Err.. Think about it.. Kuwait.. is a desert. Remember??!! Sandstorm idhar nahin to kya Alaska mein aayegi?!!
