Phone Numbers, Now 8 Digits - Kuwait

Well, officially the seven digit numbers should stop functioning from October 17th onwards. Wataniya and Zain have done the update, and as of now, both 7 and the new 8 digit numbers are working. The Landlines also seem to be working with both the formats.

Time to update your phonebooks.

Easier way:

Zain subscribers send B to 99509 (Link)
Wataniya subscribers send Backup to 1618.

A small program seems to be able to handle the conversion easily enough and you can download it from here (Ctsy: Q8Ba7th)

Alternatively you could do it manually on the phone, or update the contacts in outlook and then sync it back to the phone.
