I have actually seen this work. My friend took a pic of his Marlboro cig pack and saved it on Evernote along with other stuff. Now if you were to search for the text that was printed on the box (we used the word 'Filter'), Evernote will search the pics as well as your other notes and if the text appears in the pic - it shows up in the search results!

One of the many possible use - take pics of a business card of a business associate and save it up on Evernote (psst, this works better than the business card reader / scanner on some of the cell phones).

Saves up audio notes as well. You can email notes to your Evernote account, scan stuff into it or even Tweet! Everything in your account gets synced, so you do have access to your notes at all times.

You have access to this on your laptop (Mac/Win) or on your phone and of course, on the web as well. The catch-line definitely rings true in this case - Remember Everything.
