What A Day !

Yesterday was an interesting day.
Honestly, I have never really bothered with my birthday. I just don't see what's the big deal? If anyone should be congratulated, it should be my parents. I seriously doubt that I had absolutely anything to do with my birth.
Was a bit upset because this was the first time that papa wasn't around for the 17th Aug. Just gotten into the habit of spending the evening surrounded by relatives I don't like. When papa is around, he makes sure that happens (will be out with friends today evening... that's what happens every year. 17th with family and a special someone - if I have one, and 18th with friends).
Besides, I do miss papa.
Other than that, got some awesome news that usually sends me to the moon. I was happy when I heard about it.. but then as the day went on, it just didn't seem like that big a deal.
The icing on the cake, came at the end of the day - when someone I care about a lot - made sure that I feel like crap for the entire night. Actually I still feel like crap. Don't know if it's that conversation or the hangover.
Might not have been intentional but... ah well, shit happens. I don't know why I care so much. I really shouldn't.
Damn I have a bad headache. Was hoping I would never have to get up again. Now there's a happy thought, FINALLY!

Hey!
Belated birthday wishes!!!
Thank you, Elegant Chic.
Hmmm, why don't you putup a review like I did? :D
Glad to hear good news is coming in.. :ohyeah
A review... hmm did think of that. Of course inspired by your post. But then.. if I say all the good parts, for most of it, I will end up sounding like a spoilt playboy.
If I put up just the bad parts, it's going to sound like a sob story (and you thought these posts were depressing, wait till you hear the rest).
If I put up a bit of both.. it's going to be a terrible mismatch and will sound like a plot-less bolywood flick!
what a life eh...
LMAO
Just relax and enjoy the day yaar.
At times, just let go of everything and try to be HAPPY. I realized that we can smile/laugh genuinely even during times of despair. Something might make us giggle/smile/laugh for atleast a sec, we need to find that and with our conscious effort should try to do that for an hour or two. It helps :)
Have a good night sleep.
:)
I do chuckle every now and then. I do feel better when I am grinning about something.
At a party right now. Friends usually throw a party on every 18th Aug for me (you don't expect me to throw a bday party for myself, do you!! I think it's pathetic for someone to throw a party for his own bday. How SAD!!!.. might as well run around the block screaming - it's my bday!).
How much am I enjoying the party... well I think it's obvious given that I am replying to emails and posting comments on my BB!
Not really their fault.. I mean.. the music is my taste. My type of crowd. They managed to get my favourite drinks but....
just not really in a party mode.
