BlackBerry ‘Threat To National Security’

Let me be the first to admit – I really don’t get it!

How come the BlackBerry services are a threat to the national security of only SOME nations. How come the other nations don’t have any issues with the RIM services?

Threat from militants and anti-social elements – well honestly, if that were true then the world’s most paranoid nation – i.e. The United States of Paranoia.. err. I mean America – would have banned the BlackBerry ages ago. Don’t you think so?

Not convinced?? Well, we definitely wouldn’t see the President of the US walking around with the BlackBerry, lest he be branded the ENEMY.

The UK is often referred to as the Most Watched Nation. How come the UK doesn’t see the need to ban the BlackBerry!!?

Me thinks – some guy high up is just upset that his son/daughter is busy BlackBerry-ing away when he is giving them a yelling. OR, probably he just can’t get his head to figure out how to use the damn device himself and is tired of feeling embarrassed about it.
