MUMBAI: Passengers travelling to and from Mumbai airport should gear up for some flight delays over the next several months. From September 23 onwards, recarpeting work on the Mumbai airport's main runway (09/27) will start. The work to recarpet the runway will continue in phases and take almost nine months to complete.
