In India, cricket is a religion and the entire nation comes to a standstill when the "Men in Blue" walk out to the field. Our recent victorious campaign in the World Cup 2011 has only helped us to love our cricket even better. Also in India, poverty is still a major concern. 38% of our Indian population is poor and this is one third of the world's poor. On a brighter note, India's poverty rate is expected to drop in the upcoming years. Irrespective of their financial status, every single Indian cheers for our country when India plays cricket. This unity is special. We feel it will help us to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. Agniyan is a platform for Indian cricket lovers across the world to do social good by pledging their support for Team India.
