Incompetent idiots who have all the time to gossip about useless issues but when it comes to work - 'I am soooo busy'. What ticks me off the most is when these same people talk about 'being professional' and doing things in a 'timely fashion'.

Glorified paper pusher… and most of the times, she can't even get THAT right.

Not to mention - the shrieking banshee voice box! Once in a blue moon when she does manage to do something right, she will make enough noise for the entire building to realise that she has completed a task. Unfortunately, the banshee voice isn't restricted to just notifying completion of a task. If it was, I wouldn't be hearing it too often. The bitch insists on barking over the phone in the same way! You don't need to be on the other end of the phone to hear her blabbering. You just need to be on the same floor!

Won't ever fail to remind me how old she is as if her age serves as irrefutable evidence of her [self claimed, never witnessed] wisdom and experience. Aaarrrgghhh. Stupid annoying irritating cunt!

India To Get USD 2.32 Billion Aid From Japan

"

India and Japan have agreed to promote their bilateral strategic and global partnership especially in economic and security areas, with Tokyo granting a USD 2.32 billion aid for infrastructure building.

The loan package consists of four projects, including a freight railway project connecting New Delhi and Mumbai, and a subway construction project in southern India.

Link

Interesting. Not so long ago, India committed to offer USD 10 Billion as aid to the Eurozone.

Even in that post, I had asked - How is it possible to commit funds to others when you yourself are seeking aid for your own development!? WHY would you commit to financial aid to another country when you don't have enough for your own development!?

One doesn't need to be a financial genius to figure out that 10 Billion is far greater than 2.32 Billion. Can we please get someone to arrange a crash course in basic arithmetic for the government officials / ministers OR whichever idiot is responsible for forming and implementing government policy!?

Honestly… almost everything about that country makes me sick.

VVIP Helicopter Deal Wasn't Clean: Antony

"

KOCHI: Defence minister A K Antony on Monday said "somebody has taken money" in the controversial Agusta Westland VVIP chopper deal and no mercy would be shown to those involved in the scam.

Link

"Yes, corruption has taken place in the helicopter deal and bribes have been taken. The CBI is pursuing the case very vigorously," Mr Antony told reporters in Kochi.

  • No way! Really?!
  • Shocking.

  • And you figured that out all by yourself?

Would Be Nice If Sanjay Dutt Was Pardoned

Link

Yes, I have a biased view. I will be the first one to admit it and I don't need anyone else to point that out for me.

I don't have any [legal] reasons to put up. I am definitely not going to attempt justify my position by putting up idiotic reasoning as Justice Markandey Katju offered OR the even more ridiculous logic offered by Digvijaya Singh.

I just want to say, I would be extremely delighted if Sanjay Dutt was pardoned.

Olympus Has Fallen

1

Starts off well enough. Actually, the film is pretty good till about the half way mark. After that… it's just stupid.

Loved the bangs and booms.

Aaron Eckhart makes a crappy President. The script should've been better.

Les Misérables

*Applause!

Psst… Gavroche (played by Daniel Huttlestone) – annoying kid. Was absolutely delighted when he got shot (yes, I have issues).

Other than that… loved the film. Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman… what's not to like!

The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax.

I am unable to understand the logic.

Cop Beaten Up By Legislators

"

For nearly 10-15 minutes today, 10 state legislators beat a policeman who had stopped a Bahujan Vikas Aghadi politician for speeding on Mumbai's famous Bandra-Worli sealink.

…This morning, the police officer was summoned to the Assembly today to explain his action.

Mr Thakur in the Assembly accused the policeman of breach of privilege and said he had been abused by the cop.

Enraged by his account, members cutting across party lines demanding that the official be suspended.

The legislators - including an independent, a member of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), a third from the Shiv Sena and also several others - then grabbed the policemen (sic) and allegedly slapped and punched him.

Link

The report doesn't mention any action being taken against the legislators or any official inquiry or complaint.

Bitti Mohanty And Police Touring India!?

The team was supposed to fly on Sunday, but couldn't due to lack of flights.

The team from Rajasthan confirms that the suspect in custody is Bitti Mohanty [Link]:

"

Kannur, Kerala: A sub inspector of the Rajasthan Police who had arrested Bitti Mohanty for the rape of a German national in 2006, today reportedly confirmed that a man in the custody of the Kerala Police is indeed the rape convict who jumped parole six years ago. The man, who insists that his name is Raghav Rajan, has, however, said he does not recognise the cop from Rajasthan.

"

The police team took him to the district jail to verify his identify, signature, birth marks and physical description as per the jail records.

… During the journey, the man was not handcuffed

Err… Why wasn't he handcuffed during the journey?

A copy of the jail records from the district jail could have been sent to Kerala Police to verify the identity of the accused. I am sure that would have been easier as opposed to moving the accused from one state to another. Especially given that he is believed to have skipped parole/bail once already and wasn't apprehended for SIX YEARS!

If someone is following the case, they would know that he wasn't re-arrested because of police efforts. Mohanty was arrested because someone snitched on him and informed his employer. The Kerala Police received the tip from Bitti Mohanty's employer.

"

After visiting the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar, where Bitti Mohanty finished B.Tech in 2004, and Cuttack's Stewart School and Christ College yesterday, the police team's leader, Jose Joseph, said: "The B.Tech certificate in the name of Raghav Rajan is forged. A certificate with the same number was issued in the name of Bitti Mohanty."

The details pertaining to the certificates / index number etc could have been verified and confirmed over the phone / email / fax / registered mail. Will someone PLEASE EXPLAIN why there was a need for the Kerala Police to send a separate team to 'investigate' the records of the college/institute?

Is there ANYONE left in that country that has a working brain?! Seriously!

Digg To Come Up With Google Reader Alternative

"

We hope to identify and rebuild the best of Google Reader’s features (including its API), but also advance them to fit the Internet of 2013, where networks and communities like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit and Hacker News offer powerful but often overwhelming signals as to what’s interesting. Don’t get us wrong: we don’t expect this to be a trivial undertaking. But we’re confident we can cook up a worthy successor.

In order to pull this off in such a small window, we’re going to need your help. We need your input on what you want to see in a reader. What problems should it solve for you? What’s useful? What isn’t? What do you wish it could do that it can’t today?

Special 26

Special-26-Poster

Not Bad.

Kajal Aggarwal – Don't see the point of casting her. Pointless. Waste of reel/screen time. I don't even find her good looking so that makes it even more painful waste of screen time.

Barring that, the film was pretty good – by Bollywood standards, it was excellent!

Google Reader Alternative

There are plenty (although I am yet to find one that works for me) and I am not going to put up another repeat list of the available options (there are plenty of such lists all over the net, already). I am using Feedly, for now. Works, but will need some time getting used to it (Keyboard shortcuts). Still looking for something better.

The Old Reader is a possible option (sounds promising, based on what I read on their homepage). I would have tried it, but when I read it wanted to Manage my Gmail Contacts, something went off in my head. Feedly might be doing the same (it's a chrome extension that links to the Gmail Account) but it was worded differently - Access to your basic account information and Google Reader.

I will probably make a new Gmail Account, import the feeds into it and then access it with The Old Reader. Something to do over the weekend.

Google Reader Retires On 1-07-2013

"

We have just announced on the Official Google Blog that we will soon retire Google Reader (the actual date is July 1, 2013). We know Reader has a devoted following who will be very sad to see it go. We’re sad too.

There are two simple reasons for this: usage of Google Reader has declined, and as a company we’re pouring all of our energy into fewer products. We think that kind of focus will make for a better user experience.

To ensure a smooth transition, we’re providing a three-month sunset period so you have sufficient time to find an alternative feed-reading solution. If you want to retain your Reader data, including subscriptions, you can do so through Google Takeout.

Thank you again for using Reader as your RSS platform.

Fifty Shades Of … Book 3

Finally done.

I doubt I have ever taken this long to complete a book. Or perhaps it just felt that way, given how crappy the entire series was.

The various 'shades' of Ms. Steele / Mrs. Grey:

  • Pathetic.
  • Dumb.
  • Stupid.
  • Idiotic.
  • Unreasonable.

My sympathies to the individuals who wasted their money on this trash trilogy.

Hyderabad Blasts: Police Release Sketches Of Bicycle Used

 1 Link

It would seem that Commissioner Rao has been watching way too much of CID on Sony TV. I still remember (and laugh out every time I recall) one of the early episodes of the show where the lead 'investigator' recovers some leaves stuck to the bottom of a car and claims (with complete confidence and without the aide of any forensic procedure) 'Yeh patte USSI pedh ke hain' (These leaves belong to THAT particular tree).

Seriously mate, how is a 'sketch of the bicycle' going to help!? For a second, let's assume that it could actually help… now, where the fuck is the sketch?! OR… was it when you were about to provide the sketch for this news story did you finally realise how idiotic this whole thing sounds!?

"Vijender And I Mistook Drugs For Food Supplement": Boxer Ram Singh Tells Police

"

NEW DELHI: Hours after confessing to have met drug dealer Anoop Singh Kahlon and purchasing heroin from him, boxer Ram Singh has now admitted that he and star boxer Vijender Singh took drugs thinking it was food supplement.

…The police is yet to question Olympic medallist Vijender Singh in the case.

…Ram Singh told the police that he and Vijender Singh bought heroin from drug dealer Anoop Singh Kahlon. Ram Singh said he and Vijender Singh are not habitual users.

Lol! That has got to be the most idiotic excuse… ever!

Anger Management - Season 1

Done with Season 1.

Not bad. I would say it is worth a watch, but then again - I think Charlie Sheen is cool.

Selma Blair - Good to look at.

Shawnee Smith - Err… tolerable, I guess.

"Minor" Blast Near President Pranab's Dhaka Hotel

Link

The world has come to a point where a bomb blast can be classified as 'minor'!?!

The headline may be referring to the intensity of the bomb, but it surely doesn't read that way. A bomb blast (irrespective of its intensity) is a 'major' issue. At least I think so.

Guess it has been happening so often that the 'progressing' world just doesn't care anymore.

Zero Dark Thirty

ZeroDarkThirty2012Poster

Disappointed. It does pick up - just a bit - in between, but then goes back to being disappointing again.

Not to mention, the film was needlessly lengthy.
