X-Men - Days Of Future Past

By itself, the film is cool. It's even fun to watch - In spite of the significant lack of eye-candy and an immense amount of stupidity. For example - Wouldn't it be simpler if one would kill Dr. Trask (Peter Dinklage) in 1972 or 1971 or even earlier?

The future X-men are going to be sending Wolverine back in time, anyway. What's a few more years? Why wait for it to be so close to Trask's announcement(s) or scheduled meetings or near completion of his project? Travel back for a few more years and kill him when he is just starting off with the research.

Just one of those things… but the point is, in spite of crap like that, the film was watchable… by itself. The bigger problem is… when viewed in conjunction with the other X-Men films, I am super confused about the X-Men timeline now… It simply doesn't add up (for me).

Well Future Past essentially scraps all of the events in the previous movies and opens up room for brand new Origin Stories. Cyclops and Jean are not dead. Wolverine is a teacher in the X School.

My only question is how he gets his adamantium in this timeline. :)

That's the thing... with the way the damn thing ended, we don't know for sure if he even gets adamantium in the first place!

*shakes head. Not cool. Don't think negative thought

I have so many questions after the movie.

How is Xavier alive to send Wolverine back?
Yes... the adamantium in Wolvie's body is another one.
Oh... I am so confused now.
